Alternatively have the ceiling taken out of your lounge. Handy for getting up in the morning, instead of going down the stairs just use his neck like a fireman's pole.
This theory doesn't work of course if you live in a bungalow and if you do you've nobody to blame but yourself. I don't for one minute think you live in a council flat because if you did your seven dogs would never accept a giraffe in the living room.

Well you do have a problem, I am glad that he doesn`t smoke because it could give him a sore throat, but as far as his height is concerned, didn`t you realise before you bought him home that he would grow up to be a long necked and long legged animal?
That was terribly remiss of you. Incidentally he is called a Giraffe, not a geraffe. Did you confused him with a gerbil when you bought him? A gerbil would be more suitable for a room with a fairly low ceiling. It would be cruel to stunt his growth, and if you did I would put a Giraffe curse on you, and you would not like that
( It makes you go yellow all over and come out in brown spots, and after a week, your neck starts to grow and then....) I can`t tell you any more because it is too terrible. So this is what you do, right away;- telephone the zoo, ask for Mr. L.E. Fant. tell him the problem and say I sent you. He will personally collect your out-size pet and give him a good home, you will be able to visit him as often as you like. Next time buy a gerbil.

I am afraid you are in breach of the Eu regulations regarding pets, your Geraffe is deemed to be a horse under the EU stables directive and so unless it can be saddled and ridden it can not be housed in residential accomodation, however if muzzled it could comply with the dangerous dogs act however the muzzle would prevent smoking so you cannot win, however if the geraffe is over 18 you could enter into a Civil partnership and get really upset when anyone insults your african "partner" by calling it an animal.

Hello Jamjan, You may have a serious problem with your pet giraffe, and maybe a costly one too! Raising the ceiling can cause no end of problems and like I say can be very expensive to put in to practise. Therefore , I'd suggest that you stunt its growth by teaching it to smoke, preferably a good quality cigarette.......and do not allow it to wear high heeled shoes in the house!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

okay. it's gonna be a complex process. So are you ready? First you are going to chop it's head down to the stump, and then re-apply the head, being mindful not to cut the spinal cord all the way and there you go. you just took off 20 feet of neck from him haha

perhaps if you lay him on his back, only his legs would reach up and they wouldnt quite touch the ceiling. however, his neck would continue to grow, so that may be a problem. if you cut a cat flap in your front door for his head to go out, that may solve it.

i think you'll find that u dont need to do much, just leave it and the ceiling will sort out the giraffe, as long as u never let him out he wont be able to grow taller than it.
