I'm an independant, and by my observance it seems to me that conservatives and liberals have officially "waged war" on each-others beliefs.

Does the far left and far right out-and-out hate eachother now? I see no tolerance on either side for eachother or their beliefs any more.

Don't judge the whole country because of yahoo. Some people live in here. But , to a point you're right. I think on the right, it's from watching too much Fox Hole T.V. On the left, I really don't know what crawled up there butts. But I think they're being controlled, and it's what the controllers desire. There's a lot going on in this country that is getting insane, too. The people on the left can see that the corporates, and or government, want to turn America into a 3rd world country. The people on the far right still have there jobs for now, and don't want to hear it. Divide and Conquer, funny how it still works great after 2000 years, you'd think people would learn. Guess not.

That divide has been going on for at least the last 6 years, I actually think we'll see more bi-partisanship now that the Dems are controlling the House & Senate. It's time for some balance.

You're right, there needs to be a middle ground here! However, I'm prone to side Liberal for social reasons. However, Harper and his new Government are proving to be jokes, we were better off with the Liberals if truth be known! Harper is to "Fundamentalist" in his ideology and its a wash. He has to go!

Though many may strongly disagree, I would hesitate to say we actually hate the other. Some may, but hopefully we all realize we are all at least Americans first, and con/lib secondly

I think too far on either side is ridiculously stupid. I am conservative and I find many liberal views as ignorant. I'm againts abortion, gay marriage and such and I will stand against these. I wish people didn't spend as much time on this as other worldly problems like terrorism...

At least do far, it is just a war of words. There is certainly a lot of hatred, particularly directed at Bush & other members of the administration. That incites hatred from those who support him.

Actually, one side is constantly compromising to keep the other side from going absolutely apeshit. I won't tell you which side that is.
One side literally hates the other side. How sad.

*It's a matter of "difference of opinion"......Not hate, maybe dislike to the fact that the Libs are so immoral, and cant understand important facts or concepts, and the fact that the "right" is tired of "carrying" them, in most aspects, including financial!
