41 sin 7 doesnt equal 4.499106755, but thats what my calculator tells me. what am i supposed to do now?? i have to use this calculator for my exams next week. am i supposed to change the setting/mode or something??

there is a place to reset your calulator..try that and see if it works..

There are several ways to measure angles. Your calculator is set to measure in grads, of which there are 100 in a right angle instead of 90. You will need to change to either degrees or radians (whichever unit of measurement you are using in your class). You don't say what kind of calculator you have, so it's hard to tell you exactly how to make the change. Some calculators have a key that says "DRG". If you have such a key, pushing it repeatedly will switch between degrees, radians, and grads. On other calculators you need to go into the MODE or SETUP menu. One of the choices there should be different ways to measure angles.

are you sure you got batteries coz when my calculator didn't have batteries i put in 30/3 and it was giving mr .3something so my suggestion is check the batteries
