Retail cost wont be under 300 dollars for the ps3 till late 2008 or mid 2009. There selling the ps3 at 300 dollar per unit. Like nintendo manufacturing the wii. and giving it away for free. Price for a PS3 is not worth 500 dollars can buy a new laptop or computer for that price.

It probably won't go down before Christmas. It will probably remain pretty expensive for a while maybe even until a newer better one comes out.

Wrong direction bud, by then it will go up, only good business sense to rate the price according to demand.

I've seen them as low as $129. I can't imagine them going any lower.
