Take everything out, defrost the freezer, and clean it really well. With yellow rubber gloves and bleach.

The best and easiest thing to clean it with is this:
Get a spray bottle and fill it with 10-20% bleach and the rest with tap water. It will kill everything that is growing in there. I got this tip from my dad who works in a Laboratory.

take the drawers out, remove the drip pan, and clean it all with white vinegar. It removes everything. Do not dilute the vinegar. leave the door open to let it dry out when finished

pull out and check behind the refrig -make sure drain line is not clogged and under refrig also,
some have a small drain pan.
while you doing that clean coils and such....

try taking it outside and washing it out with some bleach. there are places that you may not see that something has gotten into.

why don't you clean it? there is probobly moldy water or something worse in the holding pan under the refrigerator. yuck.

try cleaning it withy amonia buy those yellow cleaning gloves too its strong so it should take the oder out
