I have a panasonic stereo tv. My PS2 works well on it, and because the PS3 is way too expensive, I am thinking of buying an Xbox 360 due to it being cheaper and good games (Gears of War, Halo 3..) I mainly just want to know if it can be used on a normal TV though. (The Premium version that is.)

Yes it will work on just about any television set as long as you have the proper adapter.If a television does not have the proper connections,you can purchase an external adapter from radio shack or just about any electronics store and maybe even wal-mart.

Yes it will work on any TV. It's best on HD TV's but that is not required.
And your making a good choice getting thr 360, it's the best gaming console out there and is better then PS3.
