No, This could ruin your floors the best thing to use is white vinegar and warm water. My contractor told us never to steam the floor because you can warp the wood. When you are finished mopping you can run a dry towel over to help lift the excess water. Use 1 gallon of water to 1/4cup white vinegar.

I would nt because the steam is hot and itwill soften up the clear finish on the wood and cause the moisture to get into the wood
Same thing as when you put a glass of water on a wood table and it leaves a ring where the glass was

NO, NO, NO!!!! Moisture especially hot steam can cause bowing and can ruin your hardwood. Go to your nearest Home Depot or hardware store and purchase hardwood floor cleaner.
