We have a ball python and once her eyecaps turn white, she will completely shed within 2 weeks. If you are worried, the best thing to do is to wet her down - warm water in a tub/sink will help immediately. This usually works with a stuck eye cap, etc.

Good luck

When I had my red tail, she took anywhere from one week to two weeks, depending on climate and the things she had in her cage. Make sure the red tail has a large enough bowl that it can lay in the water if it's so inclined. Also, I would leave my boa alone while shedding, she was always cranky, almost like snake pms sadly enough. Also!!! Please don't pull any of the shedding skin off for them! It will come off in it's own good time. Make sure they have some type of semi-rough surface such as tree bark to rub on, it will help it scratch it's back!

sheds are just indicators of growth and are relevant to how much it eats. you'll easily determine a shed when the eyes become very cloudy. this is called in blue. a shed would be only a couple days away.At 3 feet she should be eating a large rat 2 to 3 times a month

It may take a few weeks, just make sure it has some rocks or something to rub against to help the process and also remember that during that time they are extremely grouchy so be sure to be extra careful when handling it, be safe and good luck!!!!

make sure she has something to rub herself on. and it hepls speed it up, if the heat and humidity inside the cage is high. it softens the skin and makes it more flexible to come off easier. when it's time, she will shed in a few hours. you'll wake up one morning and see his shed lying in there.
