your world?

Question

if you could have your own world, what would you name it, what kinds of holidays would it have, what color would the sky be, would it have gravity, would everyone be tall or short or medium, ect. whoever tells me the most about their world gets the points.

to the idiots who think this is homework, its not. i don't cheat. i get straight a's . i have no reason to.

i am just curious at how everyone's imagination works.

and i did this in school a few years ago. i wouldn't be doing it again.

I'd build a ringworld, only with a geodeisic roof instead of just gravity like Larry Niven's idea. The roof would be balanced between its own weight and atmospheric pressure, so it would not collapse and make sure it could be self-sealing, thanks to nanotechnology. I would set the spin for about a third of Earth gravity and choose a star with little ultraviolet light so you didn't get sunburned, just tanned. I would use a ceiling that could be opaqued and once a month you could vote on something to be projected on the inside, like outdoor theatre or fireworks only much much bigger and with stereo speakers disguided as rocks and trees. No advertisements would be allowed on this screen.

I would include samples of all the major biospheres, but I'd genetically engineer all the lifeforms so that none of the mosquitoes liked the taste of people and you could stay out all night without getting bitten. There would be genetic upgrades available to give people immunity to poison ivy, or see in the dark, or have wings or gills. Certain types of genetic engineering for people, like longer lifespans and increased intelligence, would be free. Healthcare is paid for by a slight tax on voting for the sky's monthly display and the lack of a need for a military.

Guns would not be allowed, even for the police. Effective non-lethals like tasers would be the new limit for everyone. Wars would be decided by which side won in a massive Halo tournament. Besides, the ring would be too fragile to survive a full-scale war involving artillery and high-explosives.

The weather would be mostly random, but could be controled by opaqing parts of the roof to cool down hot oceans that might make hurricanes. You could also water crops by manufacturing small storms. Thunderstorms would be allowed because microcontrol of climate would be hard and I kind of like them.

The government would be elected via Australian ballot, and there would be no president, only a senate and house of representatives and a supreme court. The US constitution would be otherwise unchanged. The government wouldn't be used much, because the voters would decide almost everything. There would be a hefty tax on not voting added to the constitution.

The holidays would be whatever the inhabitants felt like.

I would name it Cielo, and its inhabitants would be Cieloians.

my world would be beautiful....it would have pnk and orange skies,a blue sun and purple clouds! The rain would be made of laughter and give everyone happiness! there wouldnt be war but only love , peace and acceptance!!!! things wouldnt be so complicated and stressful and there would be more oppurtunities for everyone to be able to enjoy their lives instead of working and worring about money all the time!!!In my wourld everyone would just be happy cause there wouldnt be any reason not to be!!!!

my world would be named world. it would have no sadness or trouble in it, everyone would get along quite well.but it wouldn't be boring. there would still be fun and excitement too. just not crimes and such, the sky would be the same as here, there would still be short people and tall people. it would be very similar to earth, but with no roaches, fleas, ticks, ants, or spiders.
