All American pro football games are 4 quarters long. Each quarter is15 minutes long. The clock is stopped when the player runs out of bounds. The clock also stops whenever there is a penalty.There is a 20 minute halftime after the 2nd quarter. So with timeouts & penalties, the game is as long as 3 hours.
