I have noticed this shocking trend myself...when I go to Walmart to watch women try on shoes I see young girls in short shorts with words printed on the hindquarters...these shorts practically DEMAND that you stare at the buttocks of the wearer....
I guess that the mores of our society are quietly shifting....and in 10 or 15 years Stone Phillips will no longer be able to make a living out of hunting horny old dudes on Myspace.com

I think the only reason is shortage of clothes everytime

Good evening.I think a better question is,"Why do parents allow their children purchase this clothing?".Adolescents,generally do not make enough money to purchase their own clothing.The parents purchase their clothing,and i think that parents should be a little more strick about what they send their younger ones out in.It gives off such a horrible impression and gives the wrong idea to many.I know,we teach not to worry about what others think of you,but there is a limit where you should draw the line.In my opinion,parents need to start teaching more about respecting yourself and your body,rather than buying them what is considered to be "in style,or what looks "sexy" on a 15 year old child.There is nothing "sexy" or "stylish" about that.

If you are keeping up with the trends they like to wear pants that fit like garbage bags while they drag on the floor. I think it is a way to cover up the obesity cycle. Then they have the *** crack pants which only look good on about 20% of them, each to their own I guess........

I think probably because they think that guys like it, since girls are the ones typically wearing short shorts and short skirts that barely cover them. It is disgusting and stupid though and any respectable guy wouldn't like it and many don't.

I sure don't! I can't even wear shorts... I think some do it because it's comfortable or they want to show their legs off and be all "sexy"...
