Does anyone remember what the number was? He said it wasn't illegal or anything and that's it's perfectly legit.
Incase you're wondering, I'm trying to track someone who keeps prank calling me from their cellphone to mine. I'm pretty sure I know who it is, but I want to find out who it is anyway to verify it, just for some peace of mind. Thanks!

"Drgeeforce" Actually I distincly remember him saying that anyone could use it. I remember so well because I was thinking that that number has to be special but when he said that I was surprised. I didn't bother writing it down because I never thought I'd need it. Oh well :-)

That number is available only to law enforcement and PIs registered with the law enforcement authority.

Your resolution is to call your carrier's service center to ask that the number calling you be blocked.

The reverse happened to me about 4 years ago. A lady would call my cell and in a low whisper, say "Hello Sweetie" or "How are you Sweetie" I did not have a "Sweetie" I told her she had the wrong Number. She was one digit off form the Man she wanted to contact. She had a phone with the digits on one key pad. You pushed up for one number, and down for the other. She was pushing up instead of down. This went on several times per night for several weeks. She finally got it right.

Drgeeforce has it right. It's available to law enforcement folks. And I can tell you the number but I'd have to kill you.
