i have done french tips before and my strips are gone!! HELP

Polish the tips white, then take an orange stick and with some cotton on the end, dip it in nail polish removal and make your arch. A bit tricky but it works with practice and that's how they do it in the salon. Also, you can use a pale, sheer white for the tips. It's very forgiving when you make a mistake. You don't need guards for that because the pale, sheer white is sheer enough to show but not harsh or bright enough to be obvious when you make a mistake.

The lady at my nail parlor brushes the white on, and then uses her other thumb to swipe off what she doesn't need.

Cut the adhesive part of a bandaid off and use it or you can use regular scotch tape
