One requesting that speculative reasons be given for the answer to a problem that only scientific research still ongoing has any chance in hell of ever getting anywhere near to solving.

Such as: Can you make sense of why some people are gay? In other words, can you reason back from the effect to the cause without the benefit of tests and observations that haven't yet been made or conducted.

2. Why are we here?

Indefinitely, I don't care what anyone says, there is no definite answer to these. There are clues on both sides of the arguments as to where we came from, but no one knows for sure. Religion is simply faith in the "idea", not proof, that we came about in whatever theory that religion has.
