skinny jeans?

if you wear skinny jeans does that automaticallymake u a punker cuz i dont like that type of music im mexican so yea rap n oldies baby... but,im15 n in the 10th grade so style amd images matter plz help thanx

let me just say: omg my name's mariah to but it's in spelled m-o-r-i-a-h ! i'm also in the tenth grade and know what you mean. The people at my school that wear skinny jeans are these girls that wear them with like vintage/ punker type clothing and have on like literally 5 pounds of makeup. Some guys why i don't know wear yes skinny jeans to. But i'm in the o.c and tht's kinda the thing right now for some people but not all. if you don't want to look punkster which i don't either i'll give you ideas on what i do: don't wear blk skinny jeans with sneakers, only with beige or aonther light color ugg's. Where a girly shirt that isn't to dark and dreary when wearing dark colored skinny jeans. Do the opposite for light colored jeans. maybe wear a dark top that isn't to dark. Skinny jeans look best with boots espeically with dark colored jeans and ugg's. with skinny jeans you could also try to wear them with like urban shirts that express your love for rap'n oldies if you wanted to! And you're right image does matter especially at my school. That's why i make sure i look good evry day. For instance don't wear alot of makeup. If you have a baby/young looking face like i do you won't want to wear alot of makeup. it will make you look older and like a punkster. Have fun:) So no skinny jeans will not make you look like a punkster!

Everyone can wear skinny jeans, it's just been a staple choice in the punk rock scene forever. People are just finding it hard to do so because we're so used to the flair fit that's been in our closets for the last 12 years, it's hard to have to look at our shoes again. Besides, you really have to be skinny to wear them, and if you're body type is more curvascious or muscular in the thighs and calves, these jeans suck.

I'm pretty thin and I can't wear them because I eat and run, it gets baggy in the knee area.

No. All kinds of people where skinny jeans. Girls will be girls whether they like Country, Rap,... or even elevator musak.

But if you paint your hair blue or green, then i'm going to get suspicions. (The boys will probably chase you either way, so be careful.)

Of course I love punk and "new wave". Very cool, you should reconsider even if you are Mexican. Most of the punk was british but I'm Canadian and I still like it. Won't catch me dead in a revere Mohawk tho.

Rap I take in doses. I prefer Raggae and Hipop.

LOl...depends on how you wear them. Skinny jeans are very in now...so unless they are VERY extreme, chances are the punkers are not into them. There are alot of cute looks out now for skinny jeans, I say go for it!

definitely not! skinny jeans=amazing, wearing some now, and I'm definitely not punk. Just be sure to pair them with the right top and shoes; those make the image most of the time.

Skinny jeans are def. the rage in fashion.
Mainly because it eccentuates the fact that whoever wears them are skinny. I'm sure you can rock it.
hell, Naomi Cambell loves skinny jeans and you know for damn sure she isnt punk.
so my advice is forget the stereotypes and make you're own style. if you're gonna rock a pair of skinny jeans, pumps, and a baby phat shirt, you do it with your head up.

Personally, skinny jeans just dont look good on most people. if your lucky, they can be cute. If your really tall, they're a major no no. If you're too fat(haa)then they are also a MAJOR no no. They can make your hips look huge..if you are the right size and shape, then go ahead. They aren't just punk.
