are you kidding me? my mother was the world champion of the dysfunctional communication games, until my sister unseated her from the throne. then again, jerre did learn at the feet of the master. they place really high in the overall category of the dysfunctional games also, the multiple personality disorders gives them extra points.

How do you learn to do that, unless you are also good at reading minds , if it is the case where someone is taking an underhanded shot at you do not let them know you get the message, make them confront you in person

My mother does this all the time. She will say things to someone about my daughter or my house, but I know she is 'hinting' about her disapproval. She's totally transparent!
