I'm 13. I'm turning 14 in a month.
Oh, and you probably realized I was pregnant.
First of all, I understand that I'm young, so you don't need to remind me of that.
I was wondering if anyone wanted to answer my questions.
My AIM is emmybaby87
E-mail is emmyybaby87@yahoo.com

I know there will be mean answers, so there's no point in saying, "NO MEAN ANSWERS"

Thanks a bunch

I already know I'm giving up my baby.
I understand I can't take care of her.
I decided that from the day I found out I was pregnant.

Do you have Yahoo Messenger? If so I'd be glad to help in any way I can. A very long time ago I too was young, unwed and pregnant, and with no family support. My yahoo email and Messenger ID are the same. poetry_n_motion58@yahoo.com.
God Bless you sweetheart and for now take your vitamins and birthing classes for certain, and since you might change your mind about keeping the baby, perhaps it would be best to add parenting classes too. (((HUGS)))

You sound like a nice person. I think you are too young to keep this child. Many woman give there children up for adoption, so I dont see a problem in that. Are your parents there to help and support you through this preganacy= Abortion is probably the easier way no one really has to know, the procedure is quick, make sure your safe. And what ever decission you make it will be the right one. Good Luck to you!

I feel like if you were woman enough to open your legs, then you should be woman enough to accept whatever consequences come with that. You should talk to your family and see what they say about giving your child up that is a big decision and will affect you for the rest of your life. Also you should definitely schedule an appointment with the gynecologist or tell your mother too. Because anytime you have unprotected sex, even if its only with one person you are putting yourself at risk for stds.

Childbirth classes show you what to expect, so if you want to know, then go for it. They mainly just scared me! I also couldn't remember any of the things they taught me to do when I was in the middle of labor.

Some good books to read are:

"The Girlfriends Guide to Pregnancy" by Vicki Iovine
"Babywise" can't remember author's name

I would suggest you speak to your parents and consult a medical doctor rather than seeking answers online.

Planned Parenthood is also a good option, since they have a walk-in policy and sliding pay scale.

Hey Emmy. Do you have adoptive parents yet? If so, why not ask them? I took them and when it came to labor, I didn't really use what I learned. But it may help you prepare yourself since you are so young. Good luck to you.

I would suggest you enroll in a FAMILY SUPPORT CENTER or contact SOCIAL SERVICES for a list of parenting classes and teen parent programs in your state or county. In Maryland we have several programs that may be of interest to you.
Please ask for support from an adult or family friend, some SOCIAL SERVICE programs require an adult to speak on your behalf although your about to be a parent yourself you are still a minor. GOOD~LUCK! GOD~BLESS~YOU!!!

Just put your questions here.

About child birth classes--they don't hurt, but you may been embarassed to go.

Please, let me preach for a moment: would you PLEASE consider giving your child up for adoption? At 13/14 you cannot possibly give a child the life it deserves--PLEASE consider adoption. This isn't about you, it's about your child. You cannot drop out of school, you cannot support yourself, and you cannot count on your parents to raise your child. There are adoptions now days that allow birth mothers to see their children!
