I honestly can't believe someone really thinks Empire Strikes Back is the worst movie of the triology. No wonder Lucas filmed the garbage also called Phantom Menace with opinions like that.
People, "Empire" is a Sci-Fi classic, "Phantom" only has 5 minutes of significant film (the Sith-Jedi duel) and the rest is trash.
Next thing you know, Jar Jar will be voted the most likeable Star Wars character.

I'll not only tell you which one I think is worst, but unlike most here, I'll also tell you why I think so!
"Episode II: Attack of the Clones" is the worst in my opinion. I follow the mythology of Star Wars more closely than most, and can appreciate that this movie had to be done as mainly a set up for the third installment. This being the case, there is a lot of explaining, and not a whole lot of engaging action that leads to a climax.
I am a martial artist, and I love seeing jedi/sith duels. Bearing that in mind, I personally feel there is something special to behold in two REAL people performing real or even slightly doctored moves. So, for me, the end fight between Yoda and Dooku basically equated a cartoon fighting an old man. Anti climatic! I preferred the fight between Obi Wan and Jango Fett to that.
Essentially, a lot of explaining (and oddly, not enough for the casual fan!), uneven pacing, and too much reliance on computer generated animation.
...Empire Strikes Back rules!

The three perquels were all disppointing to me, but if you look at them as just movies and not part of the SW saga, I still think they are pretty bad....I have an easier time watching the first one, find the second one painful, and enjoy the last 10 minutes of Sith. I find the Star Wars Clone Wars animated series much better than all three prequels put together...they actually have much more plot than the movies do.

Wow I cant have faith it. i like the Phantom risk. I enjoyed Darth Maul and that i enjoyed seeing obi wan kenobi as an apprentice. the entire movie grew to become into great for me. Personaly i think of that's extra helpful than episodes 6 and 5. i enjoyed Phantom risk. yet returned to the main significant query.....if i might could %. the worst starwars movie or the single i liked least it would prbably be a clean wish. the 1st movie to come again out. purely by way of fact it wasnt as thrilling to me

All are bad except the original and Empire. #1 has to be the worst though - Anakin yelling "Yippie!"...nothing is worse than that. Except Jar Jar.
Bad bad bad.
The people who said Empire was the worst are fools - If only Lawrence Kasdan had been able to write the new movies.....sigh.

The first 2 prequels were both equally bad.
The third prequel, Revenge of the Sith, was pretty bad but looked in comparison to the other two.
I wish someone would re-do the 3 prequels, they were a terrible disappointment.

Episode one. Jar Jar must die!
I don't know how anyone could think "Empire..." is the worst Star Wars movie. You people are crazy or don't have taste.

Attack of the Clones based on the fact that Hayden was a terrible actor in it and his lines were awful. However he improved immensely in Revenge of the Sith.

I thought attack of the clones and phantom menace were mediocre for starwars but the rest of them including revenge of the sith are very good films.
