Would you leave your spouse, family (spouse and children), or girl/boyfriend if you knew a relationship with the past lover was definite?

I used to think I might, but not anymore. You have to burn your bridges. Life is mostly about attitude and perception. Make the most of what you have, before it too is gone. If the "old" flame died, bury it!

NO- I would not end a current working relationship for a past relationship. I may rekindle a past relationship if I am single or in a girl/boyfriend relationship that is not working. I however would have to make sure that the reason we are past lovers instead of current spouses has been resolved.

well if i had children i could never leave them for any man... ever. but as far as a past relationship... thre is a reason why these relationships are in the PAST. i used to think that i wanted my ex... but now when i see him all i see is all the problems that we had to make us "ex's" and it's easy to want someone else when you and your spouse, or boyfriend are having problems... but believe me when i say that the grass is not always greener on the other side.

Only if the past lover was not the sole reason to leave your current family. There MUST be reasons not related.

I've made it a point to never go back to an ex. I guess it's something you have to decide on your own.
