Another name for this is bestiality. It's very popular in this remote rural part of New Zealand where I live. Our city cousins call us sheep shaggers. Car manufacturers even put adverts on TV for farm vehicles that exploit it. Once I attended a pub quiz in a city. When we said where our team came from, somebody asked us where we get virgin wool from, and said "from a sheep that can run faster than you".

Clearly mother nature never intended it to happen as when donkeys and Horses, a sterile mule is produced. Also, when a tiger and a lion are mated you get a sterile lyger. If the lyger was not sterile, it would soon become the dominant species as it is larger and faster than both the tiger and the lion, it also consumes 1.5X the male adults diet, how could such an animal be sustained in the wild.

Maybe however, you were referring to human with animal relationships. Many animals would rather kill you than mate with a human or would kill you in the process. Also, if anyone was caught with an animal, its very illegal and very embarrassing... It would not result in offspring though as our sex cells are incompatible with other animals, although we are one set away from apes if you would like to give it a go :P

I'd know better with the help of an example but.......

Mixture is more than just one
Mixture is usually beautiful and well adapted to its environment as it relates to both sides.
Cross species relationships? Have I got the wrong end here?
Hope u understad..

We love them. First, there is the relation between homo sapiens and felis sylvestris. Humans love pussycats.

Also, we cross donkeys with horses to produce mules. As hybrids between two species, mules are sterile and cannot mate and produce offspring. So there is no stuff about the gene pool.

it decreases the genetic integrity of the gene pool for both species when they hybridize.

This means that the genes for species A has now been mixed with genes of species B and a branch of genes from the original species is lost.
