I loved Hate, and was sad ( sniffle ) when it ended. Liked Studs Kirby.
Is Bagge doing anything now? And Daniel Clowes creeps me out,but is he worth investigating anyway? Recommendations, please, anyone?

Yes I loved Neat Stuff and Hate!

Peter Bagge is currently doing a comic called Apocalypse Nerd, and also does a strip about Bat Boy in the Weekly World News - these are currently being reprinted in the Hate annuals and are an absolute hoot!

I'm not really a fan of Daniel Clowes. I've read a few of his graphic novels but the only ones I really liked were Pussey!, about the rise and fall of a comic book writer, and Ghost World. I find most of his stuff a bit too gloomy and introspective to be really enjoyable.

If you like Hate you should definitely buy Rick Altergott's Doofus collection, and you might like Evan Dorkin's comic book Dork - also available in trade paperback editions.
