Can you please tell me all the notes on the trumpet?!
My daughter plays it, and doesn't know the notes!! The bad thing is, I don't either! I never played the trumpet!

Fingerings To begin, you need to learn the 8 basic notes from middle C to high C. The valve combinations are indicated below (e.g. D: 1-3 means press down the first and the third valves):

C: 0
D: 1-3
E: 1-2
F: 1
G: 0
A: 1-2
B: 2
C: 0 (higher)

All the notes on ANY instrument are: A, B, C, D, E, F, and G.

there are also sharps (higher pitched version of note), flats (lower) and natural (the note itself).

for trumpets and woodwinds, though, there is no such note as C flat , B sharp, E sharp, and F flat. However, these notes exist for lower brass instruments.

the most common scale on the trumpet (B flat major) has these 8 notes: C, D, E, F, G, A, B, C (higher octave)
