Spray the threshold with a product called "End Dust". Works for all kinds of little crawley critters. Careful that you don't spray too heavily as it will soak into concrete and spot it a little. I used this product by mistake when I thought I was using a bug spray. Worked so well, that's all I will use now!

this is an old country thing, but it works. one know those Hodge balls? those green things that fall from trees. they are about the size of a baseball? cut one in half and place it close to the boor and no bugs will come close? It has some sort of smell or repellent that bugs and spiders hate. They will not come nere it. Just cut 2 or 3 and put around the outside of your house and no bugs will come close to you. I know its weird but it works.

We bought a spray called "Spider Ban". It works but you've got to respray every now and then.

Put one of those sticky papers down you use for mice, I bet they won't get beyond this.
