I've been playing the trombone for about 1 year now. I can play from the F just below the bass clef to the first F above middle C smoothly. If I try to play higher, I am able to reach as high as the second F above middle C. However, at that point, the pitch goes berserk, and the tone is horrible. How can I play smoothly with a good note for notes higher than the first F above middle C?

Start climbing and don't stop until the air gets thin and hard to breathe.

Fill it w/ some cannabis, strike a match, and then throw the match in there.
