i'm a little worried, considering they take the baby a little earlier already because of the diabetes and now they're telling me that a babys lungs form slower when the mother has gestational diabetes.

I had Gestational Diabetes with my youngest child. I was never told that the baby's lungs would develop slower. My baby was not taken early. One of the risks with Gestational Diabetes is having a larger than normal baby because of not being able to keep the mother's blood glucose levels under control. I monitored my diet carefully and tested my blood glucose level 4-6 times a day. She was born at 41 weeks gestation and only weighed 6 pounds 14 ounces. We had some delivery problems, but she and I were both fine. You may want to ask the doctors to clarify what they are saying as it is easy to misinterpret information. A mother-to-be with gestational diabetes and her baby are both monitored more closely and more frequently. I began weekly visits to the clinic and had a non-stress test and an ultrasound every Friday for 9 weeks before my daughter was born.

Hmmm...that's really weird...I had my baby August 3rd and had gestational diabetes. All the ultrasounds showed normal development, and my baby never had any problems, in fact, he was born 3 days early! I think your doctor meant to say that if you did not eat the prescribed way and take care of the gestational diabetes, your baby COULD have slower lung production.

I am writing to tell you what an incredible impact these methods had on my life! I have had type 2 diabetes for 27 years. For me, the worst part of this horrible disease is the severe pain I constantly get in my feet. The pain is so bad that I avoid standing and walking as much as possible. I've got to tell you that within the first month, my feet stopped hurting altogether and I can now walk totally pain free.

Believe it or not, I even danced at my niece's wedding last month, something I have not done in a many years. I've been following the book for six months now and my blood sugar is well within normal range. I feel great!

I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

You should ask your OB or Perinatologist about the steroid shots to promote the development of the baby's lungs. From what I recall, the lungs are typically mature at 34 weeks gestation. I hope you can carry the baby as long possible. GOOD LUCK!
