Is it just me, or does anyone else find Oprah's "celebrity" themed shows to be boring? Today is all about Grey's Anatomy- which I don't watch, but it seems like it's always Denzel Washington, Madonna, Cameraon Diaz, etc. rather than real issues. She's doing a TV show about a TV show-- Oprah- it's Not Real!!!

LOL- "getting boring" Yeah I know. I remember when she did this same TV show about a TV show on Ally McBeal! At least she stopped doing her lit candles-honor your spirit thing LOL.
(I gotta turn this off- all the whooooping from her multi-city audiences are blowing out my eardrums.

Her show has really gone downhill and I find that she looks bored sometimes interviewing guests. I think she has a few years left on her billion-dollar contract and must fulfill this. I for one, am getting so tired of the celebities - I mean who really cares about them. Stick with the down-to-earth stuff and stop with all of the rich people who we have nothing in common with. I don't watch her show anymore because of this and frankly I am growing tired of her ventures with her "best-friend" Gayle. Boring.

I am not an Oprah fan, but I am commenting because I like Grey's Anatomy. What do you mean the show is no longer "real", just because she interviewed the cast from Grey's Anatomy?? Just like the other movie stars you named - Denzel Washington, Cameron Diaz, etc., that episode should not be considered "real" either because all they do is star in movies (i.e. TV). Oh, how those celebrity people are "not real" too.
You should consider that since Oprah is now bigger than ever and is a celebrity herself, of course she wants to hang out and interview other friends/celebrities too. It just makes sense, whether or not you like it or want to watch it.

Yes, Oprah has been boring for a while. Used to like her a lot and watched faithfully. Now she just seems to have the same celebrities over and over. The only ones I've liked lately are the ones with Dr. Oz.

Getting boring? Getting Boring? GETTING BORING?????? My Ex used to watch Oprah sometimes back in the day. Personally I'd rather watch a 12-hour documentary titled "The Wit and Wisdom of George W. Bush." Getting Boring??? Shesh!!

I agree, only once in a while I'll find one of her shows interesting. I used to watch almost everyday, but not in a long time.
I prefer Ellen, like someone else had said...it really cheers me up if I've had a rough day, I try to watch that one whenever I can.

I loved today's show (mainly cause I love Grey's Anatomy) but this past year Oprah's show's are not only very celebrity oriented but they are all about her...she's gotten way to arrogant and I find it annoying and not at al endearing.

I agree w/ you about how boring her shows are. Her holiday show is great, for the people there, that get all the free stuff. Her "real" issues are very serious, then we switch to celebrities. I watch Ellen, it's fun and upbeat, and we need more of that!

I agree! She should do more documentaries on real things, like the war in Iraq and third world countries and help them! Stuff that people really care about nowadays!
