Actually, global warming would lead to stronger storms which make larger hail. I think this idea you have said about hail decreasing in size over time is wrong because it doesn't make much sense.

Who cares?

If your house or car was hit by a hailstorm, I'm sure you'd think "the smaller the better."

don't know where you live , but we've had golf ball size in Colorado this last summer
