i always wondered why some football teams have these sticker looking spots on their helmets?it might be a silly question, but i don't know why only some have it and all the players don't seem like they all have the same amount either. so if you know, can you tell me, thanks!

Stickers are earned when the player makes a good play...i.e. a sack, interception, TD reception, TD pass.

Not all schools use them. I personally don't like it. I find it kind of distracting.

some college teams like georgia or ohio state add stickers for individual player accomplishments, therefore no stickers....that player must be a freshmen

the stickers are for great palys a good hit a interceptipon a sack a touchdown...thats why they are there its a tool or incentive for college players

it could be part of the team logo or the style the team wants or a sign of recognition.A freshman might have fewer and a senior might have more

duh, its weekly pass/fail stickers when coach is checking homework before the game!!!
