i don't think it would have been quite as funny. Did you know that in that scene when he walks away if you watch closely he spits out the steak in his napkin? The actor won't eat steak, but he ate it throughout the whole movie, just kept spitting it out.

Well, chicken is a lot cheaper but it would probably hurt more than steak.
