OK i was on the bus and some boy triped me and i feel on my knee and know it is sore and its like purpleish and hot is it broken
i can walk (barley) and if i do it hurts
PLEASE HELP

You may need to try keeping it elevated and put ice packs on it. If this does not work go see a doctor. You may have torn something in your knee so be careful with it till you can see a doctor.

I would put a ice pack on it and go to the ER to have them do a X-Ray. that is the only way to know if it is broken or not. the ice pack will help with the swelling and make it less painful when you must get up and walk.

There is absolutely NO Way Anyone (not even a doctor) can honestly tell you if you do or don't have any breaks (probably not), hairline fracture (maybe), ect. without doing an X-Ray. Thats the truth.

i would definitely get it checked out!!! a doctor will do an xray and be able to see if it's broken or fractured. I sprained my ankle really bad and i could barely walk on it and it did turn purple(luckily it was only a sprain). I'm not saying its sprained but please go get it checked.

You might try putting ice on it and taking ibuprofen for a day or 2. If it isn't better go to the doctor

Good idea. Get advice from a bunch of us losers on the Answers page instead of having an actual doctor look at it. If a bunch of us tell you it's not broken, does that mean you won't get it treated? Are you really that stupid?
