Good question and where do I start!! Most people in my neighborhood where I grew up. I've been gone away from that particular city for about 11 years now but believe me when I go back there I get the same ol thing "I remember when I use to change your diapers" It's annoying really

Only my mom, with a disgusted look on her face when she said it. Like most things she said to me and my siblings, she usually said it to make it sound like she had made some great sacrifice for our benefit.

I've told that to a few kids that I had changed diapers of.

My mom would also complain about being pregnant with me. I was a month later and ended up weighing 10 lb. 6 oz. As if that was my fault.

Yes, old friends of the family.
It's kind of like a term of endearment... unless it's meant as an insult.... like I'm more experienced than you or whatever.

Yeah, my former neighbours and it is even worse when they tell you that they saw you naked, took your bath and did all sorts of things. And even in front of your guy or your friends, maybe to make you feel like you are still a baby doing matured things. I don't know. Maybe i'ld ask them why.
