i need to wire in a fan/light combo between two 3-way switches so that the fan can be operated by the pull chain at all times and not by the 3-way switches....how do i do that ????

You will have to test the wires to see which wire is hot all the time and wire that with the fan through the pull chain

Oh boy! Thats a good Q. Truth is a simple 3 way switch system is really not simple at all. Then you want to throw in a fan as well. You would need to have a moderate amount of electical knowledge to pull that one off.
Bottom line is that you need the actual power feed to be located in the box that the fan is hung from and 2, 3 wire feeds going to each switch. If you do not have that setup, then you cant pull this one off.

i honestely dont think its possible depending on how its wired (there is so many ways to wire a three way) most of the time you have whats called travelers that alternate current and one wire isnt always hot (depending if switches are messed with
you'll have to determine where power is coming from then run just a hot neutral and ground to fan and bypass switches put blank cover over
