Hi. I'm 16 and I've saved up some money. I have $600 to buy christmas gifts but the problem is, I don't know what to get anything for my half of my family. I can buy half my family gifts and still have money left over for myself. So here it is:

Mother is 52-Doesn't like Perfumes or anything flowery because it messes with her sinus.
Father is 50 and he likes golf. I'm not sure if he likes anything else. Oh Yeah his B-Day is Christmas Day.
Older Bro is 31 and Sis-in-Law is 28 don't know what they like. I was thinking about Him and Her something but don't know what to get.
Older Nephew is 12 and he loves Video Games. He has a GBA SP. I'm thinking about getting Mario Kart for him.
My Niece is 9 and she likes Bratz but I'm not going to get her a Bratz until her B-Day so I'm just going to get her something from the Barbie Toys.
Younger Nephew is 6 and I don't have a clue what he likes. My mother bought him cars and trucks and he's has a ball with those ever since.

Everyone else in my family, I've gotten Gift Cards for them because I don't know what they like. But the People I mentioned above, those are my main concern. So, what are your Ideas about what to get the people I'm Shopping for?

I do have some shopping stores to go to. And I'm only going to these below,

Walmart
Toys R Us
Family Dollar
Target

I really don't like shopping in the malls around Thanksgiving and Christmas Time. So everyone, Help Me out here please.

Thank You

First off, let me start by saying that you seem to be quite a special young lady to want to make the holidays great for your family! I don't know many 16 yr old who don't just think about themselves.

Some ideas for you:
Mom: You will do good with something she can use evryday like gloves, scarves, earrings, braclet etc...
Dad: golf shirt with golf balls - 2 gifts for dad for 2 occasions!
Bro and his wife, you would do good with getting them something they can put in their place like maybe a picture of you with a pretty frame, a rug, dvd, or a cd. The best gift for them may even be a coupon from you to baby sit their kids while they go out on a date....if you go this route, make sure to keep the kids over night. They may need a nice break if the kids below belong to them.
Nephew: go with the game you wanted to get him
Niece: Get her something with Bratz on it like a shirt, or purse, etc.
Little one: 6 is a good game to learn how to play a board game.

I jope you have a wonderful holiday and remember this: It is not about the gift so get them something from the heart, get yourself the best gift for working so hard and save some money for a rainy day....

Happy Holidays!

Mom- photo albums and stuff it with family photos, or a decoration for the house, kitchen tools are great!

Dad- a membership to a colf course, golf kits, maybe even a golf video game.

Bother and sister in law- fleece throw, matching robe and footies, house items.

Older nephew- mario kart is a great game, also a good one is super mario world 1, 2, and 3.

Niece- barbie dolls, movies, dollhouse.

Younger nephew- Cars, army men, train sets.

Good luck, I hope I gave you a few good ideas!

Magazine subscriptions make nice gifts that 'keep giving' all year.
Just buy one off the rack at WalMart, send in the subscription notice inside and then wrap that one to put under the tree with a note that says the person will be receiving the magazine all year. Most subscriptions are between $10 and $20 and you can find magazines about whatever the person is interested in.
Thank you for having such a giving spirit.

The best gift my sons gave me for christmas was a gift card to a book store. If either of your parents like to read, they might appreciate that too. Another nice one was a "coupon" book from my kids of things they didnt always like or want to do...wash and wax the car, put up storm windows, clean out the garage...the cost...some paper and a writing utensil and your time, and time is the very best gift you can give anyone!

I think if you JUST gave them the devil picture it could be offensive but BOTH together is adorable! I haven't seen the "chick magnet" t-shirt or I would have it for my little guy! Although if they are religious they could take offense...since I'm not I don't really know for sure.

Try these websites, they have fun stuff and most of it is not expensive.

www.collectionsetc.com
Nothing is over $20.00

www.whatonearthcatalog.com
They have odd stuff that you won't find in Walmart.

www.lighterside.com
They have tons of humorous gifts.

Have fun and treat yourself to something, too! :-)
