It's a no-brainer. Read shouldn't be judged for his test match place on his batting for a poor one-day team in a (let's face it) worthless little money-making tournament. On his batting in our most recent tests (a lot better than Jones's poor efforts) he deserves to be in. That's before we even think about wicketkeeping, where Read is one of the best in the world and Jones isn't even the best for his county. It just shows that Fletcher and Flintoff took the decision, not Graveney. Let's hope for a broken finger/torn muscle or similar to save us further embarrassment.
