Why is it that when you're running late for work, you always get all the red lights, get stuck behind the slowest drivers, and can never find a parking space. But when you leave early, you always get the green lights and you always end up getting there so early.
Does my luck just suck? Does this happen to you?

It's called Murphy's Law- everything that can go wrong, will go wrong.

My brother went through a time when he was always feeling sorry for himself. He said he had bad luck all the time. When he made phone calls, the lines were busy. When he wanted chocolate ice cream, they were out of it, etc, etc. Oh, puhleeze! The same things happen to everyone, not just him. I used to just want him to grow up and realize that the whole world wasn't built to revolve around him.

It is the same way with us. The lights are red for us because the people going the opposite way has a right to a green light when it is their turn. The reason we can't find a parking space is because the people in the spaces got themselves ready and out the door in time to get the better spaces. Maybe the slow driver is an older lady who is losing her eyesight with nobody to drive her and she wants to be very careful so she won't cause an accident.

Let's be reasonable. Sorry, but thinking about my brother during that time gets me going.
