Yahoo has a spell check. Using it would help most people with their misspellings. It would also be nice if the questions made sense before posting.

What? Actually decide that I want my answer to look the best it possible can? Why, that would mean I would have to THINK about what it is I'm doing, rather than reacting.

(Seriously, I agree with you on this. A few more seconds isn't going to hurt making things look as best as the can.)

Misspellings are annoying, but I doubt the person is doing it on purpose. For example, even though I consider myself to be quite a good speller, I have made a few mistakes in my messages, usually due to a rush typing job or because I did not think about hitting the spellcheck tool.

Also keep in mind some of the posters may be on cell phones or other small text message devices. They may type in an abbreviated manner to make it easier for them to post, as long as the message gets its meaning across.

Finally, remember that not everyone speaks or writes English as their mother tongue. They may write it in the only way they know how or used a site like Altavista to translate it to get answers here, but the questions get messed up by that.

I agree! We all make an occasional mistake but some people must think they are cute misspelling words since they are so obvious.

The people doing this can't possibly be as uneducated as their writing looks or they wouldn't be on a computer, would they? Scary, isn't it?

I think that also, but some people don't like taking their time. Sometimes it is easier to type fast with spell checking.

See if you can read this.

Does seplling raely mtater if you can raed waht tehy maen.

They have tests that prove the mind only sees the first and last letters of a word as you read. You should be able to read any thing know matter how it is spelled, if the first and last letter of a word are correct.

I wish they would let you go back and fix your question after you have realized the mistake you have made.
