My golden retriever, Willow who is 10 months old thinks that obedience is just something she does if she feels like it...or if she knows she is going to get a treat. The breeder we bought her from would be totally appalled if he came to visit...his dogs are "perfect" as he is a professional trainer as well. But at least my dog doesn't live in a kennel all day...she is part of our family and I think that is better than having a perfectly trained dog.
