i have done the tools, manage add ons, enable or disable add ons as directed on help but this does not seem to work, all my add ons are enabled. i have recently added internet explorer 7.0 .............. is this the problem or is there something i can do to fix this? thanking you in advance for your help

open Internet options, find security, open custom level, find ActiveX controls and plugin, and click on disable, say yes to change, and last click on use. Finish

Just clicking on it should do the trick, but please be aware that ActiveX is a HUGE security hole - only allow it on sites you trust completely.

Firefox is secure in part because it doesn't allow ActiveX, and there's no good reason to "require" ActiveX for everyday browsing.

there is nothing to worry about all that is the problem is that the wbsite you are trying to view uses Active X control just right click on the messgae and click allow.... hope that helps.

activeX controls are actually not something yet some lacking components on your browser. if u arise with difficulty, attempt to place in those lacking components. u in no way get that message returned.
