I don't know who Brendan Shanan is. If you're talking about Brendan Shanahan, he used to play to the Detroit Red Wings. After his contract ended this past summer, he signed a new contract with the New York Rangers.

He was with Detroit Red Wings for last 9 seasons, before that he was with the St Louis and I think if I remember correctly he played a year or two between there with maybe Hartford?? Drafted by New Jersey first round in 87

By the way it's Shanahan

I was just reading up on him in the new york papers, still seems weird him not being a Red Wing, I am glad he is doing well in New York. When he left, he said he was in no way in a hurry to get out of Detroit and had a good time here, he just thought of himself as more of the Red Wing past, then the future.
