How long did it take you to get a positive test result even though you "knew" you were pregnant?

I feel as though i am pregnant been sick and nauseous for over a week and am 5 days late. Havent had sore boobs yet though and last time i didnt know i was pregnant till 2 months when i had sore boobs and was eating macaroni for breakfast it didnt show up till 8 weeks didnt suspect till 6 weeks! I really need to know.

i already had a child,with my 2nd pregnancy,i knew i was pregnany,took 3 tests at home,2 at family planning clinic,and 1 at the doctors,after that i took another home pregnancy test,and it came out positive,i went for a scan,i was 9 weeks pregnant.i felt like no one believed me,but my body was telling me,i was beginning to think i was going mad.

I would have to say after the cyst with the egg ruptures.

I just found out yesterday at 7-1/3 weeks, yet my egg/cyst on my left side release on Friday (I had pains on both sides, and a Ultra sound confirmed that none was on that side).

Yet I had a blood test a week ago which showed <1
3 PG tests that were negative all within the last 2 weeks (2 OB, and 1 ER)

I did gain the 10 lbs and can taste salt more (only while pregnant). Also within the last few days my acne got really bad. I went from no pimples to 8 big ones. My horimones are going over time.

I do have a cyst in my right side, so maybe that is why the egg released later?

Keep checking with your Doctor, and get an US if you think you still might be.

I started getting period cramps about 2 weeks before my period was even due accompanied by sore boobs, tiredness, stomach cramps (like I'd eaten something bad) and nausea at night.

I did suspect I might be pregnant but as we'd been trying for years and had been told we'd need IVF I was afraid to get my hopes up.

I started spotting on the day my period was due and actually cried my eyes out - it seemed so unfair - I had really started to think I might be pregnant and now it seemed that my period was starting.

But the spotting stopped the next day whilst all the symptoms carried on. So I did a pregnancy test the day after and it was positive! The first positive pregnancy test I've ever had!

Well you should be able to find out using one test right now as long as you use a good test. If I were you I would by a two pack (double check the expiration date before you purchase) and take BOTH during your first morning bathroom trip. I have found for me that urinating in a cup instead of on the stick works better. You will have a better chance of getting enough urine on the stick and not getting it all in the window. Another tip, use an early pregnancy test , just in case you might have miscalculated your period. Good luck, I am eight weeks pregnant with our 3rd child, it is wonderful!

P.S. For the best accuracy go to a clinic or to your DR. and have a real test done. Then you will know 100%!

I didn'k know until I took a test, we were trying, so I was just hoping and it came back positive! Didn't start getting sick and stuff until about 4 weeks (found for sure at 3, tested positive at 2)

I already knew that I was pregnant, but just needed to see those two lines. The results came in before I pulled my pants up and it was overwhelming, I had to take the second test b/c I was just so shocked....if you think are then take a test, its the only way to know for sure
