ok whats the best dog to get, to catch and assault an annoying pikey that sings songs about the i.r.a everytime he passes my house in the morning?

get a pit-bull. That'll scare the s*** out of him. And learn not to pass by your house.

Get a dog that suits your temperament and situation ,for instance if you have children you should get onr thats good with them .Pedigree dogs might look good but are expensive with high vet bills.you`ll find cross breeds or mongrels are more resistant to disease.
As to the answerer that suggested a Pit bull forget it Pit bulls are fighting dogs and in the UK are illegal.

A bloodthirsty little chihuaha always works.If that's not violent enough 4 u then try setting some caffiene-high little boy after him instead.Works every time.
