The longest I've ever done was 9-10 pages. Will it be really difficult?

Not necessarily. Just think of it as two 9 - 10 page essays on the same topic. You will probably have a broader topic, one that you can expand on a lot more. Obviously you will need more information for the essay and it will take more time and thought to write. Research essays tend to be longer sometimes. These sites should help you with your essay writing.

It will probably 3 times as hard as your 10 page essay.
The hard part will be to not repeat yourself in the paper and to choose a topic that is wide enough that you can cover it in 20 pages.
If I had a better idea of what you were writing about then I might be able to help you more. You need to include more details in your question.

writing an essay (any length, any genre) is relatively easy if you follow the steps listed below:
1. brainstorm (in writing) words or phrases, key ideas, supporting details, etc. that you feel are crucial to the development of your essay.
2. begin writing
3. reread your work every so often as you write your essay to see how it's progressing and if there is a need to rewrite, eidt, and or revise.
4. continue this pattern until your essay is complete. again, edit and revise.

Very hard hey im lucky if i can write a 5 page essay .... i guess it would depend on what the essay is about what is it about????

If it is about something you are passionate for or an interesting topic it will be much easier than trying to write about something you don't like...otherwise, you might have to go into more depth than usual

make sure you have lots of good resources on which to base your writing. Start early. Can it be padded with graphs, tables, etc?
