Ok, well im not sure what those thingies are called, that you attach to your faucet and then it comes out "purified" that makes it good for you to drink. Well anyway, I wanted to know if it is ok for a betta?

Trishymwl is wrong, it does not take out chlorine. You will still have to use a dechlorinator on the water. It is better not to use the faucet purifiers because they take out a lot of the good minerals that your fish need, and they also take out the minerals that buffer the pH so that it doesn't drop really low. It is best to use plain tap water. If for some reason you have to use purified water, you are going to have to add buffers to the water, either by using chemical pH buffers that you can buy at the pet store (not pH raisers) or by adding crushed coral to your aquarium. And you will still have to treat the water with a dechlorinator.

Do not use a water purifier or any kind of distilled water because that kind of water is missing so many of the nutrients that your fish will need. Its just best to use tap water but let it sit for awhile as you use a water treatment meant for your kind of fish.

Sure.... its purified. Which means alot of the toxins and chlorine are taken out. I would still use the water purifier stuff (that you should be using), but the purified water wont hurt your fish any.
