I have really painful cramps for the first 2 or 3 days of my period, how can i stop/deminish the pain without useing drugs of any kind?? Will streaching help? Any suggestions?

Warmth on the lower abdomen helps some people but most of the time its drugs...bring out the Tylenol!!...;

i have the same problem, i use what is called a rice bag. u can generally find them at most major stores. all u do is heat it in the mic for about a min and a half and lay it across what ever part is really affected by the cramps. works great on lower back. p.s they also make teddy bears that do the same thing.

Good idea. Tylenol causes thousands of Americans every year to need liver transplants and most never get another liver.

I don't know how you could stand it. When I don't have meds like aleve or ibuprofen with tylenol between I puke it hurts sooo bad. Pain is very stressful on your body and you shouldn't suffer overly or it will only undo any good not taking meds would do.
I find that a heating pad is comforting to me then.

You shouldn't eat Lemon, Dairy or spicy food. Exercising can also help because it makes your period last less time.

i get cramps in my back and i find a heating pad helps and if i stretch out those muscles it helps also

Drink more water....if you're gonna say I already drink a lot drink more....it helps me
