I agree with lil bro. Only I would reword that analogy to say that the OSU-Mich game is to THE BIG TEN Football, as the Red Sox-Yanks are to American Baseball.
Yes, it's a big game and rivalry but it's not THAT important to people outside of the Big Ten. Other conferences in other parts of the nation have other favorites. "Big" is a relative term when it comes to rivalries, depending on where you went to school, how closely you follow each team, etc. The Texas a&m/Texas rivalry, for instance, is much "bigger" to folks living in Texas than someone who lives in Michigan.

To the Bionic dude. How the hell is Alabama-Arkansas a rivalry?
Ohio St. vs. Michigan is not even the biggest rivalry in college football. You guys just don't know what's going on in Alabama this week. Bama vs. Auburn is the BIGGEST rivalry in all of sports. Yankees vs. Red Sox is not that big of a rivalry to me because they play like 50 times every year.

I'm afraid I agree with your brother in some ways.
That rivalry is not close to as big as Boston-New York, due to the hype put into the game by the media.
However, to the extreme fans of both sides, they are nearly equal, with Boston-NY slightly ousting it.
Yet, OSU vs. Michigan is the biggest rivalry in NCAA football, and Boston-NY is the biggest in baseball.
However, Boston - NY is the biggest rivalry in sports.

No it is not even like the Red Sox - Yankees. The Yankees for the most part have owned the Red Sox where is the rivalry in that? OSUC - Mich is much more competitive.

I'm not too much of a baseball fan so i'm not exactly sure how big of a rivalry NY vs. Boston is, but there isn't a bigger rivalry in the country than OSU vs. Michigan.

Looks like you've won this bet. Yes, chocolate can be quite bad for dogs - in excessive amounts or to young dogs, eating it can even be fatal. Don't let your brother try to 'prove' otherwise - he can make a dog very sick or worse.

Bionic Dude forgot Texas-Oklahoma. They have been playing that game (mostly at a neutral site) for over 100 years.
and *-*-*-*, the Texas-Texas A&M rivalry is only big for the fans of A&M. Texas fans consider Oklahoma to be their rivals.
