The gov. of Sudan and the United Nations are negotiating terms for insertion of a UN force. Once finished, then it will happen. Bush has nothing to do with this.

According to Bush's logic of why he invaded Iraq, he should find it perfectly legitimate to invade Darfur, where people are killing each other non-stop. But, alas, he is a hypocrite and will say anything to defend himself. He doesn't know what to do about Darfur. Or Iraq or Afghanistan for that matter...

If the global community acknowledges Darfir then it has to admit a holey war is taking place. That would not be PC.

That is a very good question. Probably because we are tied up in Iraq... Although I do not know if he would do anything anyways because Darfur does not benefit the US in anyway... It is really sad to say...
