Last Christmas our Family went to the movie theatre to see "The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe" on Christmas eve. With Christmas just around the bend, I was wondering if anyone knows when the second movie is coming out? Are they doing the trilogy the same as BBC? Will the Prince Caspian and the Voyage of the Dawn Treader be the next movie out?

Prince Caspian should be in theatres in Summer 2008.

As far as I know it's simply called "The Chronicles Of Narnia: Prince Caspian". IMDb has it's release date as 2008. It was originally supposed to be released next month. The movies are supposed to be in the same order as the books. If that has changed, I can't find any info on it. I hope that helps!

I don't know if they are making another movie, but I advise you to purchase the whole book which has all the stories. C.S. Lewis wrote these stories in the 1940's and they are timeless. They are written about British children so some of the words may not be understood but it is a book you will be glad you purchased. I gave a hardback copy to my granddaughter so she will have it always. C.S. Lewis was a wonderful person who at one time was athiest but turned Christian. The Chronicles were after he became Christian.
IF they follow the Chronicles the way they were suggested to be read by C.S. Lewis, I hope that is the way the movie will be published.
I live in USA so don't know about BBC.

Prince Caspian comes out in May of 2008. Its in pre-production now.

the next movie to be released will be the prince caspian and it is coming out in the summer of 2008...! i cant wait..

Ya they all were excellent books. I'm not exactly sure if there is a sequel arriving anytime soon. If there was, we would have heard about it by now. And i doubt they'll make one before Christmas.

Sorry - I don't have an answer for that - but I just watched the movie last weekend and I LOVED it!! I would definitely watch the next movie they have!

I have heard two things and not sure which is which and which one is true. I heard in fall of 2007 and Not at all!
