20x + 25 - 1254 = 40x - 20x + 2(4+7) -42
20x - 1229 = 20x + 8 + 14 - 42.
20x - 1229 = 20x - 20
20x - 1229 + 20 = 20x
20x - 1209 = 20x
20x = 20x + 1209
20x - 20x = 1209
0 = 1209?
We get an equality which is never possible.
Therefore, the equation has no real solution
