I have the Temperpedic Pillow top queen size mattress and I just love it. I don't snore as much any more and my knees and back don't hurt in the morning. I can move in the bed without waking up my wife. It used to be hard for me to wake up in the morning but not any more. I am up and ready to go with no aches and pains. I would not waste my money on the topper they don't seem to be as good. You need the whole mattress. It does take a bit of getting use to because the heat of your body helps mold the mattress to your body and can be a bit warmer than a conventional bed.

I have heard that a foam mattress is not good for "romantic" activity, there is not enough rebound.A foam topper on a worn out mattress will not help.Just buy an entry level mattress with foundation and one week flip the next rotate.Pillowtops are not good because when you flip it you do not have a pillow top anymore.Fat people need to flip that mattress and losing weight will ease stress on pressure points.Sleep on the floor this weekend which will make that mattress you have seem like heaven.

I have a memory foam pillow and I love it. I can't afford the mattress but if it is as comfortable as the pillow than I'm sure it is worth it. I would try to find a place that has one on display and lay on it, like a mattress store or even a department store might have one. They are more pricey though. The prices might go down a little for Christmas shopping season.

i imagine that having a foam topper would defeat the entire purpose of having a memory foam mattress. the perfect project that you'll do will be to attempt out the mattresses contained in the keep.

The guy at the mattress store said that Tempurpedics have a 40% return rate because they retain heat while you sleep. Which is self-explanitory.

Those things can hold real bed bugs that can make you itch, if you keep them for a WHILE....
