ANOTHER Great Day! Silence is GOLDEN and to be an Empty-Nesting Single after being a LONG TERM Single Parent of two disabled children -- and enduring a short disaster of a marriage in life -- PLUS all the Hard Work I did to obtain what I DO have in life --

Seriously? The first thing I thought was "Oh crap it's Friday, and that means I have to go take care of the horses"
Not that I hate it, it's just that it's getting colder and I wanted to sleep in. Fridays are the day I help my sister (she runs a bording stable) I exercise the horses and clean stalls (35 of them!) She gives riding lessons and trains horses all week long. Friday is her only day off.

"What day is it"? My sleepy mind unraveled from another night of darkness. I squinted as the morning light filtered through the blinds. Sunrays welcomed me to a new day, reminding me it was (YAWN) time to go Christmas shopping.

i wonder how many excused absences my son can have at school, so maybe we can both catch up on some sleep. we've both been really tired lately. he got a pink slip for being tardy the other day... uggh.
